ANU centre induces a sense of calmness. I enjoy the privacy, calm and friendliness of everyone who uses it. The centre is well located and provides a lovely environment.

Willow Room

The Willow room has two electric leather chairs that swivel, rock and fold back which facilitates regulation and grounding. There is a further chair for use with couples if needed. We provide a desk and chair for writing notes. A bookcase holds therapy books and has space to store painting materials, etc. This room is capable of hosting groups of up to six people. The Willow room has a warm ambiance as it catches the sun during the day and has an amazing view of the canal.
Rowan Room

The Rowan room has three very comfortable chairs for 1 to 1 or couples’ sessions. It can host up to eight people. There is a table and chairs to facilitate meetings. The walls are decorated with beautiful large paintings.
Both my clients and I feel comfortable and welcome. The location is very popular. Rhona and Mary are wonderful and extremely well organised and the centre itself is a beautiful place.

Beech Room

The Beech room has two electric chairs that fold back for relaxation or grounding exercises. We provide a desk and chair for writing. Behind a screen there is an electric plinth that can be used for complementary therapies. There are also private toilet facilities in this room which makes it ideal for complementary therapies and massage.
Ash Room*

The Ash room has four comfortable chairs and a desk for writing. It is suitable for 1 to 1 counselling and couple sessions. It can also host a group of up to eight people. The Ash room can be joined with the Oak room to accommodate much larger groups and activities.
I appreciate the ease of access to the centre, it is a very quiet, considered environment. The rooms are large and airy with space for flip charts if required.

Oak Room*

The Oak room is a large room suitable for large groups and can comfortably accommodate up to eight yoga mats. There is ample storage space in this room. The interconnecting doors with the Ash room are sound proofed. There is a beautiful view of the canal from the two large windows.

When the Ash and Oak Rooms are combined into one space, it can accommodate up to fifteen yoga mats.
Reception and Kitchen
The reception area provides a seating area for your clients to transition before their sessions. The kitchen area provides tea/coffee-making facilities, a microwave and lots of delph and coffee makers to facilitate groups. It is a calming environment in which to relax before sessions or meet other practitioners in a more social setting, building on our vision to grow as a community focused on wellbeing.
There is a little kitchenette where you can make yourself a cuppa and chat to other therapists/professionals.

11 Herbert Place
The building is a traditional Georgian building nestled amongst its neighbours on a peaceful road along the pretty Grand Canal.
Facilities we provide to our clients include:
- Free and strong wifi throughout the building
- Printer (accessible through wifi connection)
- Flipcharts
- Use of electronic or manual/mobile plinths
- 12+ stackable chairs
- 15+ folding chairs
- Kitchen facilities for tea/coffee and snacks
The full centre can also be rented for retreats and larger events, including over a weekend. You will experience a serene and quiet space to hold your event, with absolute confidentiality due to its own entrance, breakout rooms, tea and coffee facilities and a choice of restaurants and catering facilities nearby.
